CLAT 2024 (Dec 2023) Analysis

CLAT 2024 analysis

The paper was conducted in Pen-Paper format on the 3rd of December 2023 across centers in India from 2 pm to 4 pm. The first impression was of an easy paper, with no surprises in terms of types of questions or pattern. The exam was conducted in the 120 questions format for the first time. Previously, the paper consisted of 150 questions (since 2020) to be attempted in 2 hours. The reduction in number of questions (by a whopping 20%) with no change in time, gave ample time to students to attempt the questions. While students were happy with the easy paper, there were concerns of very high cut-offs being a distinct possibility.
