Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts a national level exam every year called TISSNET. The exam is conducted for admission to the various masters programmes offered by the institute, the most popular being Masters in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations.
The masters programme in HRM & LR offered by TISS is considered as good as an MBA in HR from XLRI. So all those candidates who are interested in building a career in the field of human resources, should take TISSNET.
The TISSNET notification is released in the month of October (last week) and the registrations begin simultaneously.Click for more information
TISSNET is a computer based, national level examination consisting of 100 questions with time duration of 100 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes).Click for more information
There is no age limit in TISSNET. For admission to M.A. programmes at TISS, a bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university is required. Final year students can also appear in the exam.
