Overview
IPM-AT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore and IIM Ranchi for admission to the Integrated Program in Management (IPM). The IPM is a five-year undergraduate program designed for students who have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) and wish to pursue a career in management. The program offers a blend of undergraduate and postgraduate management education, leading to the award of a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) after the completion of the first three years and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) after the final two years.
Exam Details
The CLAT is a 2 hour paper-pen test with 120 multiple choice questions with 1/4 negative marking. The test is conducted in various cities across India on the first Sunday of December.
Exam Pattern/Paper Format
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a paper-pen-based entrance examination for aspiring law students in India. It assesses candidates across five key sections: English (20%), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (25%), Legal Aptitude (25%), Logical Reasoning (20%), and Mathematics (10%). The English section tests language proficiency, while General Knowledge and Current Affairs focus on recent national and international events. Legal Aptitude evaluates a candidate’s understanding of law and reasoning, whereas Logical Reasoning measures critical thinking abilities. Finally, the Mathematics section emphasizes basic numerical skills, ensuring well-rounded preparation for legal studies.
Process Information
The application form is released in August. Students need to complete the application process by mid-October. The test is conducted in December. The admission process is carried out in multiple rounds from end of December through May-June.
